We could not believe the jury's verdfict nor the judge's sentence. How can this
be??? So much prayer and tears and still this battle continues--and gets worse.
This is a horrible storm, but God has not left any of you alone in the midst of it.
As you know, He still reigns, He is still in control and He is still Who He is no
matter where each of is--in jail, at home with the kids, crying on the living room
floor asking "why?!?", or sitting in a law office smirking because you think you
have "won." This is not over; we will continue to stand beside you, pray and ask for
prayer from anyone who prays, and keep your cause before anyone who will listen. We
cannot make sense of this, but our hope remains in the Lord and in His Word and
believe that when He says He works all things together for good, He means ALL
things. I can't begin to imagine your suffering. We're so sorry that you and your
family have to endure such a travesty of justice and more separation. We're angry
and numb. God is our only refuge and we trust Him in what He is allowing despite our
not being able to comprehend. In yesterday's reading in Psalm 57:1-11 there is
comfort: "I will hide beneath the shadow of Your wings until this violent storm is
past. I cry out to God Most High to God Who will fulfill His purpose for me. He
WILL send help from heaven to save me, rescuing me from those who are out to get me.
My God WILL send forth His unfailijng love and faithfulness...Be exalted O God
above the highest heavens! May Your glory shine over all the earth. My heart is
confident in You, O God..." And Psalm 56:8,9 says, "You keep track of all my
sorrows. You have collected all my tears in Your bottle. You have recorded EACH
one in Your book. On the very day I call to You for help, my enemies WILL retreat.
This I know: GOD IS ON MY SIDE..."
We love you and will continue to pray and fight in the spiritual realm for
you and your family.
